Refrigerated Body Description (reefer)

A refrigerated vehicle, whether it be a cargo van or box truck is typically called a reefer van or reefer box. The refrigerated unit is installed to keep produce or any other precious items at a cooled or frozen temperature between deliveries. Depending on the delivery route, they can be continually charged from stop to stop or run through the engine power supply. Running through an engine power supply will use more fuel but it cuts the time used to plug in and unplug during each stop.
