Catering Body

Catering Body

A catering body, also known as a snack truck, is a mobile venue that transports and sells food. They will have specialized compartments specific to the purpose of the truck. Outward facing compartments for product placement are available with aluminum doors that cover up when not in use.
 
Flatbed Body

Flatbed Body

A flatbed truck is a type of truck which can be either articulated or rigid. As the name suggests, it has an entirely flat, level 'bed' body with no sides or roof. This allows for quick and easy loading of goods. It will sometimes be used for abnormal loads that require more space than is available on a closed body.
 
Stakebed Body

Stakebed Body

A stakebed is a flatbed with sides, and no roof. The sides are usually made of metal or wood. They have sides that will open in order to provide better utility. The tailgate can open up or fold down for easier loading of materials. This kind of truck would be used when having a fully enclosed box is not necessary. Usually bulkier items will be hauled with this type of truck.
 
Van Body

Van Body

A van body, also known as a box, cube, cube van, bob tail, box van, or straight truck, is a truck with a cuboid-shaped cargo area. They usually have a garage door-like rear door that rolls up. Box trucks are usually used by companies that need to haul appliances, furniture, or other delivery goods. This type of body can also be insulated for refrigeration use.
 
Dump Body

Dump Body

A dump truck is a truck used for transporting loose material such as sand, gravel, or dirt for construction. A typical dump truck is equipped with a hydraulically operated open-box bed hinged at the rear, the front of which can be lifted.
 
Tank Body

Tank Body

A tank truck is distinguished by its shape, usually a cylindrical tank upon the vehicle lying horizontally. They are designed to carry liquefied loads, dry bulk cargo or gases on roads. Tank trucks are constructed of various materials depending on what products they are hauling. These materials include aluminum, carbon steel, stainless steel, and fiberglass reinforced plastic.
 
Utility Body

Utility Body

These units are generally small to medium sized trucks with a utility body equipped with side or top mounted cabinets. Utility trucks can be equipped with torches, air compressors, hydraulic power packs, manlifts, etc.
 
Walk In Body

Walk In Body

Walk-in vans, also known as step vans, are designed for ease of entering and exiting the van. Deliveries are provided at a maximum efficiency level. Excellent height allows great mobility for the operator. Large cargo areas allow cusomization to fit many types of uses. Delivery, mobile maintenance, laundry and bread storage are a few of the uses this truck has.

Wrecker Boom Type Body

Tow trucks are known by a number of different names, including wreckers, breakdown trucks, and recovery trucks. A tow truck is a vehicle used to haul or tow vehicles that have been damaged or wrecked. With a hoist operated hydraulically or pneumatically, the front or rear of the vehicle is hoisted into the air and the vehicle is towed.
 
Wrecker Roll Off Body

Wrecker Roll Off Body

Roll off trucks, also known as rollback tow trucks, consist of an empty bed that is turned into an inclined position with the help of hydraulic controls. This turns the bed portion into what resembles a ramp, allowing the vehicle to be driven aboard. When the vehicle is successfully situated on the ramp, a hydraulic operation levels out the flatbed and the vehicle is towed.

50/50 Dry Reefer Van Body

50/50 Dry Reefer Van Body

A 50/50 dry reefer van is a mix of a dry van, and a reefer or “refrigerated” van. It has a dry compartment used for transporting food, and a refrigeration system that uses a cooling system to transport necessary foods. The cooling system sometimes utilizes carbon dioxide or a refrigeration system powered by a small displacement diesel engine.
 
Animal truck Body

Animal Control Body

An animal control body is attached to a truck with the purpose of transporting animals. They are usually enclosed with vents to allow sufficient air flow to any animals in the box. They have locking mechanisms to prevent escape and are very durable.

A beverage body has compartments on its sides that are divided for ease of loading/unloading trays of beverages, usually for transportation from manufacturer to retailer.
 
Bucket Body

Bucket Body

A bucket body is a crane mounted onto the back of a truck. The end is a bucket, designed for a person to stand and work inside of. Also known as a cherry picker, boom lift, man lift, basket crane, or hydraladder. It has a hydraulic lift system to perform aerial work. Examples include picking fruit, servicing electrical equipment on utility poles, and other forms of construction.

A catering walk in body is a mobile food truck. It has compartments inside for cooking and storing food. It has enough room inside for a fully functional kitchen that includes a sink, stove, grill, etc. They are mobile restaurants that go from place to place.
 
Chipper Body

A chipper body is designed for holding wood chips. It has an opening in the rear where the chipper sends the wood chips. It is rust resistant, and constructed with strong steel for maximum durability and payload. Lighting panels and toolboxes are fully enclosed to ensure they remain free of debris. It has a dump hoist for removal of the material as necessary.
 
Combo Body

Combo Body

A combo body is a utility truck with an extra platform/bed to be used for a wide variety of purposes. It has several compartments along the side to allow storage for necessary tools and equipment. It may also have racks for ladders, ropes or any other equipment to be used. Great utility for those in need of organized space.
 
Concrete Cutter Body

Concrete Cutter Body

The concrete cutter body is similar to the design of a utility body, having side compartments for other tools and equipment as necessary. Also known as a saw body, the concrete cutter body has space and slots for a saw, water reservoir, and generator to power the saw.
 
Contractor Body

Contractor Body

The contractor body is a flatbed designed for maximum utility. It has several toolboxes and compartments for equipment. It also is equipped with a rack for items that are large in length such as pipes, ladders, lumber or reinforcement bars. This works great for the general contractor who has a variety of tools and would like them organized.
 
Crane Body

Crane Body

A crane body is a flat bed with a crane attached. These work great for yard areas that need lifting from areas of goods. Also, many are used for general maintenance work. They can be used to install equipment or even something as specific as laying track for railroads.
 
Curtain Side Van

Curtain Side Van Body

A curtain side van body is a van body without aluminum walls, replaced with one or more walls made of tarp type material. They are easily accessible from either side or the back, which can improve loading/unloading times without a loading ramp or dock. They are frequently used for palletized items.

An ambulance cutaway body is placed onto an incomplete van usually called a cutaway. It is equipped with heavy duty equipment as compared to the original van from the manufacturer. All ambulances are based off of a cutaway chassis. They are mobile hospitals equipped with life-support equipment.

A cutaway shuttle bus body is an incomplete van with a shuttle frame attached. This vehicle will be equipped with seating for mass transportation. The cutaway shuttle bus is great for maneuvering in tight areas and is typically for city transit as well as resort transportation.

Similar to the cutaway utility van, the walk-in adds a huge amoun of extra space, specifically in height. This allows ease of moving around inside the van without having to crouch or bend over to stand inside. This is great for those that need to be in and out of the van constantly.

The digger derrick body is used to dig holes, hoist and set utility poles, as well as lift other materials. Hydraulic ones are also available. The drill sits on top of a utility box that has additional compartments for miscellaneous tools.

The flatbed dump body has a flatbed with a dump hoist. Generally used for large bulky items to be loaded on any side. This truck has a flatbed maximized for durability.

A forestry bucket body is a combination of a chipper and a bucket body. The bucket allows the operator to get into higher areas of forest to cut trees. The chipper body stores the chips and greenery after it goes through a chipper. There is a dump hoist for removal of materials inside the body.

A glass rack body is attached to a truck. It has upright panels used to secure large panels of glass. The main purpose of this vehicle would be for contractors or window installers who have a need to transport windows or other large glass items to a job site.

A hauler body is a chassis attached to a truck designed for pulling or towing objects, trailers, vehicles, or even RV’s and 5th wheels. Hitches may be installed on this chassis.
 
Hydro Vacuum Tank Body

Hydro Vacuum Tank Body

A hydro vacuum truck is a type of vacuum truck. It has two separate tanks, one that contains water and one that will hold the slurry that is sucked out of the ground. Pipe is exposed by blow water (heated if necessary to thaw frozen ground) at high pressure. This process turns dirt into slurry, which can then be sucked out into the second tank.
 
Limo Body

The limo body is a truck with a limo chassis. This chassis is designed with mass transportation in mind. This setup allows customization of seating inside the chassis.
 
Lube Body

Lube Body

These trucks are utilized to both fuel and perform in field equipment maintenance. The complete fuel and lube truck must have a dedicated fuel tank and transfer system, multiple oil product tanks, water or antifreeze storage and handling, an equipment grease system, and a waste oil storage and transfer system. The basic ability to fuel, change oil, and handle waste oil are the defining parameters.
 
Mechanics Body

Mechanics trucks are similar to the design of a utility truck with special compartments for tools and equipment. They are used for on-site repair and servicing of trucks and equipment in the field. To qualify as a mechanics truck the unit must have a crane, or at least two components such as an air compressor and welder.

The motorhome body allows an operator to have a living space attached to their truck. Different sizes are available as well as home styled ammenities like kitchens and restrooms. This is great for traveling.

The moving van body is used purely for maximizing storage space. Transportation of materials is the main purpose of this body. Vehicle has a fully enclosed box to ensure all belongings are secure during the transition.
 
Pickup

Any incomplete chassis can be complete with a traditional or customized pick-up bed that you would normally find on a light duty pick-up truck. The concept is the same but for those who would rather enjoy a larger cab, better driving views, stronger hauling power and anything else a heavier duty truck can provide.
 
Reefer Van Body

Reefer trucks have a refrigeration system (or reefer) to keep perishable loads at a constant cold or freezing temperature. They are typically insulated on all sides. A refrigerator truck is a van or truck designed to carry perishable freight at specific temperatures. Refrigerator trucks can be ice-cooled, equipped with any one of a variety of mechanical refrigeration systems powered by small displacement diesel engines, or utilize carbon dioxide (either as dry ice or in liquid form) as a cooling agent.

A vacuum tank body has a tank attached to a truck with a vacuum for picking up fluids. These are seen as anything from a septic tank to a vacuum for sewage.
 
Welder Body

Welder Body

A welder body has compartments specialized for welders. They can sometimes have C02 tanks, and will usually have a generator or other power supply for their cetaline torches. Additional storage compartments are available for safety equipment and any other materials needed.
